5R110W Vent

Installation Instructions (English) 2003 and later Ford trucks and vans equipped with the 5R110W automatic transmission often develop a leak from the vent when hot. As the miles accrue on these transmissions, pump surface distortion sets in and allows line pressure to bleed over in the vent circuit which creates the leak. This kit was designed to relocate the vent away from the normal cross leaks within the pump while still allowing for a functional vent.
