A high-rev version of this kit is available for engines that rev over 5500 RPM, check out #700 PKH The rings in this kit are not cast iron or compressed metal. They are not brittle. They are tough, hardened steel and should go just about forever. Because they are slightly larger and stiffer, pump efficiency is increased. You will notice higher pressure at hot idle.
