Installation Instructions (English) The SKпїЅ8HP SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered to address the most frequent ZF 8HP GEN1 and Chrysler 845RE transmission failures and shift complaints. Fits GEN1 ZF8HP45, ZF8HP55, ZF8HP70, ZF8HP90 and Chrysler 845RE Does not fit GEN2 ZF8HP50, ZF8HP75, ZF8HP95 or Chrysler 850RE Includes: Redesigned pressure regulator valve with calibrated spring and bushing Drop-in TCC regulator valve and spring Oversized pressure reducing (AFL) valve and spring (requires tool kit #ZF8-AFL-TK) Optional oversized converter pressure regulator valve (requires tool kit #ZF8-TCREG-TK) (2) End plug retainers (7) Solenoid damper rubber inserts Corrects/Prevents/Reduces: TCC codes, TCC lining failures Harsh, soft and erratic shifts Gear ratio and solenoid performance codes Tool Kits: ZF8-AFL-TK This tool kit is required for installing the oversized pressure reducing (AFL) valve included in the SKпїЅ8HP SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kit ZF8-TCREG-TK This tool kit is optional. We included an optional oversized converter pressure regulator valve in the SKпїЅ8HP kit. At this time, half of the bores weпїЅve seen do not show signs of significant wear and do not require the oversize valve. This tool kit is designed only for those units that do exhibit wear.
