Common complaints on this transmission are soft shifts, loss of power on launch, pump bushing burn-up, TC clutch failure, stalls in reverse when hot, converter hub failure as well as torque converter drain-back. Features and benefits: The kit includes valve body components and modifications designed to deliver short smooth shifts as well as a better TC clutch apply.
